I remember hearing rumors that the fourth Rambo movie would be about the title character fighting Osama bin Laden. A fourth one was in fact made, but not about that. Due to this, I'm not sure if we should trust this source. Of course, none of the Rambo movies have come even close to being as good as the original as seen on RottenTomatoes. Then again, people will still pay to see it.

Weird, according to Snopes, there is in fact a fifth Rambo movie being worked on, but it will have no connection to Afghanistan. Then again, they technically didn't say it wouldn't be connected to ISIS, but then again, that was a statement released way back in 2009.
