Not big enough here, and no tragedies that would interest them.
When they said they were coming to my area it came out of the blue. They just up and decided it was time to hate on the local college because it had an LGBT society (which wasnt new or even in the local news as far as I know). I think they just send out press releases all the time saying they're going to protest some town or funeral and go wherever people make the largest stink about it and not bother anyone who ignores them
I have seen a lot of people saying they will photoshop themselves into locations and post, "We are approaching such and such city" meanwhile they are still out inbreeding on their Kansas compound.

I am experiencing cognitive dissonance.
*I* think the best way to handle them is to not give them any attention. *I* am not the entire state of Louisiana. What I feel, and what I know will happen when they show up in southern Louisiana are two different things.

These sound like delightful people, we should invite them around for arsenic tea and poisonous cookies.
I do quietly hope there is a version of them out here I need to let off some steam
I think Australia should stage a HUGE tragedy so they spend all kinda money trying to get down there, then when they show up, not a damn thing is going on.

Never met 'em personally, but I think we can all agree that the general bipartisan consensus is that nobody likes WBC.
Nobody.
The shooter, down here, had social media and it was full of posts supporting him. They are claiming he was not a member but whatever. They're all drinking the same koolaid.

During Mardi Gras of 2014, me and a few of the friends at this house I was staying at threw fishbowls full of piss at a bunch of religious zealots in New orleans on Bourbon street.
Yeah But those crazies are always out in New Orleans. I go during non carnival season all the time and they are out and about preaching damnation.

They haven't come to my town. Although, I personally wish they did, so me and some friends can counter-protest, like kevin smith did!
I think the counter protest is up to like 14 thousand people signed up.....It's a ridiculous amount of people.

HAve a bunch of gay porn on TVs facing them, with riot shields protecting them so they can't break them from a distance. Then you just park it closer and closer to them until they leave. It also helps to have the audio plugged into a amp system.
As hilarious as this is, I don't think it'd be appropriate for a funeral.
Hiring security for the funerals and making them private events could also work.
To me it would seem the owner of the cemetery/funeral home could simply say they are not welcome and to leave, as that is not "public" land. I know the ACLU is all over this, as our governor has declared they cannot protest within so many feet of the services etc.
Why can't their bus/van just drive off a cliff?
