There's a scientist that believes fluctuation in the sun's activity will cause the earth to cool for approximately a 10 year span around 2030.

There are plenty of naysayers. and there are even more people that are like "this means we can pollute like shit now because it'll fix itself"

Personally, although possible, I really don't think this is going to happen. I don't quite know why I think so, but I just do. Maybe my tired brain will shit up a good reason soon.

A small ice age wouldn't be catastrophic to the entire world but it would create harsher, longer winters in the higher latitudes, possibly year-round in places (relatively) closer to the equator than normal.

What do you think. Is this a thing or no?

This is a huge problem with many idiots mentality. Thinking there is an excuse to not care about the planet. The same with people complaining global warming doesn't exist who would rather ignore doing anything to help the planet than humouring the fact science has brought up and helping out just incase, just maybe, it does exist and such things would help out in some way.

If we try to help out the planet and lower our polutions and it turns out none of it was necessery then the worst case scenario is we waste some time, effort and money. But if we do nothing to help and continue to treat the planet like shit and it turns out that is a problem after all the consequences are far more dire. The lesser of two evils mentality. Someone thinks we may enter a mini ice-age? Well then lets see what we can do about it just incase it might happen.

Datacenters will benefit the most from this so-called "mini ice age". Air conditioning is horribly expensive and computing density is a big deal for high-traffic clouds.

We need an ice age to prevent global laming. And besides, the desert is hot as fuck. It's been a miracle year since it's only gone above 35c for a few days. Already 16 inches of rain, and the annual average is 8 out here.
