This thread is especially directed to long-term users of the site. Which layout you liked the most in NG's 20-year long history. I personally liked the layout as used in the years 2007-2012. It was just glorious.

Really? I don't really remember anything pertaining to that layout...
The redesign circa 2003-2007. Mainly for nostalgic reasons, it just had that unique look and feeling to it that kept me hooked to this site for years. I remember I was level 9 for so loooooong.

2007 was the best IMO. It has a certain look to it that just looked right and I really liked it.

2007-2012 because I preferred the level icons and good/bad/evil auras over the icons and auras we have now.
2003-2007 since then its been nothing but shit layouts.
I to miss the Pop-Up profiles, but the newer profile layouts are nicer. I miss having userpage headers though.
The site redesign from 2012 to a few years after is my favorite. The layout itself is still the same, but there have been a couple of changes that I'm not a big fan of: the site going gray, the voting bars all being Pico now, and the phrases associated with each vote being changed to be G-rated (i.e. "Blam this piece of crap!" to "Blam this, plz!"). I know these are all stupid, minor details in the long run, but I thought they added a lot to make NG unique and have an artsy, detail-oriented site design. I guess I'm going off-topic and talking more about color choice and details rather than the whole thing, though. On the whole, I think the site is easier to navigate and its easier to find content than ever before.
Whichever one has the most nostalgia attached to it since that's clearly all that matters to most users.

Neat little animations would pop up everytime I was the final vote on a submission and I either blammed or saved the submission. That and spending a questionable amount of time in the flash portal hovering over flying .swf files in that endearing little flash game.
