This guy's method of getting girl's numbers is to operate a gas station in the middle of fucking nowhere, wait until an attractive girl pulls up, probably because she's running out of gas and there's no other gas stations for miles, wait until she pays, and then lock up the pumps and refuse to allow her to pump gas, effectively holding her hostage, unless she gives him her phone number. He knows she has nowhere else to go and what's she going to do? Walk for miles?

I'm fortunate enough to say that I have never been shot, nor have I ever even been shot AT, nor have I ever even seen or heard a gun fire in real life. Yeah, guns just aren't my thing. Of course, I have this manager who has tons of guns, so I can always go to him if I want to do that.

I've never been shot or shot at but I've been shooting a few times and promptly came to the conclusion that I don't like guns much.

There are places here that are the same, if not worse than East Oakland. We have plenty of other bad areas besides Bayview/HP such as Sunnydale, Fillmore, Lakeview, Double Rock, the TL's, Portrero Hill, 24th & Shotwell, Alamany Boulevard, Army Street Projects... just to name a few. This is why tourists who visit San Francisco are often discouraged from visiting most parts of the city. These neighborhoods are often excluded from the tourist maps entirely. The tourists are generally quarantined in the northeast corner of the city where all the yuppies live and the city can squeeze as much money out of them as possible with all the tourist attractions and overpriced restaurants. They don't want people to see the "real side of town." If people knew what the city was really like, I'm willing to bet we wouldn't get nearly as much tourism.

i'd never been shot before but i have experienced being held at a knife point (while working at my mom's small grocery).
the person really wasn't robbing me or threatening me, but was just showing me a blooded knife and he's boasting about how he just killed someone. i can't move of course, for i didn't know if he'll slash the hell out of me, but the guy was kind of friendly while telling me the story (and he's kind of drunk) so i kept my cool until he left.

Why not move to San Diego? It's more conservative, if that's what you prefer, and it has a nice climate and scenery, not to mention nice beaches. Also it has one of the lowest crime rates of any major U.S. city, and a lot safer than San Francisco. It was considered an All-American City and is family friendly compared to most cities.

Have you ever been to San Diego? It's not a big city like San Francisco but just a ton of suburban sprawl, but it's a city nonetheless. Some rural areas of San Diego County, like Jamul, and Carlsbad are nice (not as rural)
