You mean a friend who reacts badly when s/he realises that you're not quite exactly who s/he thought you were? It would honestly depend on what s/he expected, what the difference is in "A" and "B" and how they reacted.

A lot of my friends in uni think I'm an SJW because my closest friend is a trans. Back in my first semester I left one of my friends shocked and appalled just from saying Bioshock Infinite did a piss-poor job at portraying 20th century racism, and reminding them that "negro" would be the politically correct term for that game's setting.
One guy from my anime club thought I was gay then he got disappointed when he found out I was straight. He probably wanted my BBC.
i actually had a friend that would presume, without any plausable reason, that I did "action A" when I really never did "action A," and after explaining I never did "action A" would continue to not believe a word I said and assume his random notions were correct.
Needless to say, we are no longer friends.

I once made the mistake of assuming that @Chronamut was openly gay in real life.
Boy was he shocked when I said "are we the only gay guys here" at the restaurant.
