Just finished sending Private Messages to people who appeared on the 1st Annual NG User Icon Battle. Hopefully they'll respond or at least add this thread to their notifications.

Admittedly I'm impatient for the fighting to begin, so the actually battling will begin 72 hours from when the 2nd Annual NG User Icon Battle was made. By then most of the contender spaces will be filled out.

Just want to let you know that you'll have to wait for me to find myself an available time to battle. It probably shouldn't be too hard, but you'll just have to wait until I'm ready. Unfortunately, I probably won't be able to give you a heads-up of when that'll be, it'll most likely just be pretty spontaneous, so just be ready.

I actually have a process planned for when it's actually time for two users to fight each other.

As the OP, I must keep tabs on everyone who's participating and see who's online and who's not. That's why I'm sending friend requests to each of the contenders. That way, when I look at my friends list and see who's online: if any two users who are paired up for a fight are both online, I'll send a Private Message to both of them to see if they are ready for battle or not.

So far everyone who's a contender in this thread has accepted my friend requests.

This has been on my mind for a while, but I need to get this off my chest: I need help battle music-wise.

I don't truly know which video games has the best battle themes and which ones have the worst battle themes, so I need some people with good taste in video game music to be the official battle music selectors for the User Icon Battle. They must not be afraid to request the entire soundtrack of a game for me to archive, and they must be willing to work with what they've got.

Actually, I plan on getting defeated anyway to give everyone else a chance. It would look stupid if the OP won. However, for the fight I'll intentionally lose, I'll make it look as if I was trying my hardest to win, for I don't want to be an easy victory for my opponent since it'll be more entertaining that way.
