Let me try to put this into perspective for those bashing the Palestinians. Criminals go to your neighbor's house, rape your neighbor's wife, kill his kids and burn down the down house. Your state finds the criminals, tries them and they hang. Justice done, good... but wait! Since your neighbor no longer has a home, the state removes you from your home so that the neighbor can now have one. This, of course, would make you mad, despite all the horror your neighbor has experienced. Since you no longer have a home, the state decides to provide your neighbor with guns, a tank and a few security guards so that he can protect himself from YOU. You try to tell others what happened, but no one listens and you are constantly treated as a potential threat.
How would you react? What would you do?
You see, this is pretty much what happened to the Palestinians when Israel was created by the British in 1948. The Jews had suffered a pogrom and were provided a new home, that used to belong to the Palestinians. Now, remember that the people in the Middle East are not like the people here, they are, for the most part, fanatic. Jews, Muslims, Islamic, and so on, they all have a fanatic devotion to LAND and RELIGION. The United States is the one that provided the Israelis with guns, missiles, tanks and, yes, nuclear arms. Now, you have to ask yourself, what the hell was the US and UK thinking? We have provided NUCLEAR ARMS and WEAPONS to people in the, historically and currently, HOTTEST part of the world?!?
Now you sit dumbfounded at the terrorist acts hitting the US and all you can think of is vowing to hunt down and kill the terrorist? No, I do not condone violence or terrorist acts, but to be surprised that something like this would ever happen is ridiculous.
When historical and political analysts predict that WWIII will eventually start in the Middle East, I do not doubt them. I just hope all of those fallout shelters built during the Cold War are still good for use.
