I have to agree with BruceLee19. The entire world, especially the US, has become barbaric in it's collective thinking. An old adage says that "a person may be smart, but people are very stupid."
This event has wrapped up the entire country in a vengeful rage which contributes to the mob mentality that makes us capable of becoming killers. There are lots of problems with starting a war over this. President Bush was talking about war about twenty three seconds after the first plane hit. Our hotheaded president is about to get the entire world in a heap of trouble.
For one thing, we STILL DON'T KNOW who is responsible. It could be one of hundreds of terrorist groups or possibly several working together.
Furthermore, it is well known that the US is a superpower that can never be invaded and never lose a war... but guess what? those were american planes they stole... they don't have to invade, THEY'RE ALREADY HERE!
Nostradamus predicted the when "two silver phoenixes come down from the sky to topple the twin brothers of oppression... it will open the gateway to the apocalypse."
The end of the world is coming and we are all throwing fuel on the fire. For some reason that totally escapes me, the entire world wants to go to war... millions of lives are going to be lost. Nuclear weapons will be used and this world will become uninhabitable.
Iraq has been letting refugees from Palestine into their country because they are afraid we are going to attack... Iraq may have biological weapons... are you following this?
It reminds me of when I was fifteen and I had to face a similar decision.
Everybody hated me in high school, but since I was so much bigger than the rest of them they did not want to fight me.
One day I was walking down the street with a friend of mine and he saw some guy he knows hanging out by a shopping center. The kid started yelling things, cursing at us... I didn't even know him, so I walked on and told my friend to ignore him.
It was sudden and unexpected, but I felt a hard smashing on the back of my head. I bent down in shock, but the surge of adrenaline painted over the pain. When I turned around the kid had ran halfway up the street and had no intention of coming back.
I could have chased him. Being over six feet tall and nearly 250 pounds, not to mention being trained in the martial arts, I could have beaten him bloody, spat in his eye and called him a pussy little bitch for attacking me from behind... but in the process I'd have only been feeding a fire. His friends would come after me for beating him up, then my friends would go after them... until we all had black eyes, a few missing teeth and a criminal record.
He had run away and was no longer a threat to me. I had a bump on my head for awhile, but that went away just like the kid did. I never heard from him again.
The terrorist groups responsible for this are like a sissy little bitch who hates you but can't meet you face to face. By retaliating with force we only invite them to strike again.
The only real solution is to apprehend and execute the brains behind these groups. That person alone should pay for what was done, not the whole world.
We've lost thousands of lives thus far, but if we go to war we will lose millions more. Shouldn't we be trying to keep the body count LOW?
