Sure, he was a good man. But all the people who DID know him have already paid their respects. He wasn't a soldier, he was a guy, and sad though his death may be, you won't see people who never knew me posting about how sad my death was.

Even after 4 years, we all still mourn his death, but we still have to move on.

What I find even more saddening is that there are still many who have not heard about his death; posting reviews and requests in his flash submissions. But at least, it leaves a bit of figment of his memory- his everlasting immortality that is preserved within his flashes, and he's still alive, in our hearts.

I just read the news links. It's horrible. Screwed up. They totally depicted Fulton as a psychotic criminal. They even posted a very bad mugshot of him. That is not the Fulton we know- that is what the screwed up media wants the viewers to believe, that is how they try to earn viewership- by completely focusing on the wrongdoings and negativity, completely leaving out the good sides. If I hadn't read that email, I could have categorised him in the same boat as the shooters in Columbine. But now I know, the truth, that he was really sorry for his actions. He was really sorry for the officer, and called him a good man. I don't know if the officer ever did recieve the email in the last 4 years, but I hope that the persons involved know Fulton's side of the story.

His life was cut short by his own decision- if only he had hope, that he could still testify in court... but that is too late now. No matter how much we mourn, no matter how much we pray, no matter how much we pretend he's still alive, no matter how much we debate about his suicide, Fulton is never coming back. His corpse will never come live. But as we look at his flashes, we can still say, that he is still here; his soul embedded into the very flashes he made himself.

I blame the the Authority in the first place, for allowing possession of guns. I blame the media for not giving him a chance. I blame the police for not taking it peacefully. I blame alcohol which makes man turn insane.

Your death taught me what a sorrowed and pained heart can do for the world, how sadness strikes from the loss of a life, whoever it is, whenever it is, as a distant stranger or good friend.
