I didnt know him or his flash. But all the same many will miss him. I havent seen and doubt I will see anything concerning his death on the news. But I cant help but feel that the media loved the emails perhaps even going as far as using it against him in a way. If someone that saw the reports reads this please email me the details at mudvaynefan2182@yahoo.com, please.. prove me wrong about the media.

There's one way he probably didn't ever think about, but something has to be answered first:
Did he kill the guy he stabbed?
If not, he could have just gone to a minimum security prison and avoided the sodomy he obviously feared. Supposedly, if you shoot someone below the waste that's not attempted murder. According to Adam's mother, he really wasn't in that much trouble (she made a post on something that was a tribute to LiveCorpse and gave some details). He would've probably wound up with assault (stabbing), and assaulting a police officer. That wouldn't have netted him much time. I just wish he would have thought things out just a little bit more. I may never see him again but may he rest in peace and may his family be comforted.

Holy fuck, that is some heavy shit. The scary thing is, this is just what a friend of mine has always talked about doing. Hopefully, Adam is in a better place now, and may he rest in peace.

Well I'm glad Tom finally cleared that up, so we know it actually happened and wasn't just a fake death prank. It's sad and shocking to hear about Livecorpse's death. Obviously suicide isn't the answer to any problem. It seems like a cowardly solution to avoid some temporary human problems. Temporary because human life is so short anyways. Many people have problems and are forced to deal with them. We all have to handle our own burdens, even if life isn't fair.
The situation seemed so tragic, like it got worse with each bad decision he made. And these decisons were made out of instincts and self survival, not for the care of another human being. If he had just cooperated and given himself up after he had only stabbed the guy accidentally, that they were both drunk, sure he'd get some punishment, but not as bad as when he chose to shoot at a cop. Then, even if he did shoot a cop, which he fortunately didn't kill, he still could've turned himself in. Even if he got some prison time, if he was truly sorry for what he did, he wouldn't mind paying his debt to society. Even innocent people have had to pay with prison and they bear with it. However, guilty people should be all the more willing to tolerate for their wrong choices.
But anyways, I can understand that he was probably not in the right mental state of mind and was scared to death about what was happening.
One way of looking at things is that our human life is like serving a prison sentence itself. Our soul is temporary trapped in our bodies. If we try to escape or break out of our prison before our prison sentence is up, then we'll have to suffer the consequences of early escape. I think that no matter what your belief is, most ppl can agree that suicide is wrong. It's just sad to see someone take that route.

LiveCorpse was a person who made us laugh at death in his flash animations. No one would have guessed that the last thing he did conserning death would make us cry and sick to our stomachs.

True, he did make some funny and entertaining flash. At least we can remember him by that. But now we know he wasn't just joking about suicide, death, stabbing, and shooting.

I'm never writing another review again.

I've always thought of Livecorpse as just a prick who purposely set out to make crappy flash movies.... Now I see how quick to judge I can be... Truth be told, he had more talent than me in this field, and maybe I should have given him more respect than I did.

I myself have been seriously considering suicide the last few months... Seems there's a rise in it all of a sudden...But now I see that there's a better choice... Tom Fulp said it himself. He was no different from you or I. I guess I shouldn't have judged him based on his flash... I shouldn't have judged him at all. I should judge anyone.

Although it's sad to hear that someone's life was cut short, and although he may not be the most monumental flash artist to grace the internet... I've learned a lot from his actions. I think we all have... I hope he's at peace now...

Man that's way too harsh. I've ran from the cops for like 1 week because of Grand Theft Auto when i was 13. I was about to pull the trigger on myself when the cops found me. I was in a Mental insitution untill I was 14. But that's going off-topic. I'd like to say to everyone here, if u accidentally do sumthing real bad and get in major trouble with the cops, Don't Fucking end you life by suicide.
My friend did that when we were both only 8. I grived for 4 years about that, and I still some times do. This is for you John.

wow, this struck me fairly hard, I didn't really know him, just saw some of his great stuff, and then one of my friends on another forum posted this and after reading the letters, I feel fairly sorry to him, but I feel worse for the police officer and his family.... sorry, but ending your life is not a way of redeeming yourself for a crime.

I don't feel bad for Adam Fulton at all. I feel bad for his family, who now has to deal with his death. He was a coward. If he was stupid enough to take his own life, then he got exactly what he deserved. I didn't know him, and i've only seen a few of his animations but from what I did see, he wasn't that great a guy. Being dead does not automatically make someone a good person.

Everyone is a coward sometimes. Its part of being human. If you fear nothing, then you're not human. Subconsciously we fear something even if that something is about ourselves. People don't become good or martyrs when they die, but its a reaction people have, because suddenly that person isn't there any more and it wakes people up, because all those 'what could have beens' can't be. Regardless a lot of people cared about his contributions and his letters did seem very sincere. Thanks to Tom for putting those letters up.

...I... can't believe it. I didn't know him personally, but I've seen some of his Flash works and he was darned good at them... Wow. Talk about being in the worst place at the worst time. My condolences for the police officer too... And just when I thought I'd seen/heard/read about it all... Pretty amazing to hear his complete side of the story before the end, though...

I hope he's finally found his peace...

It's really a shame to loose such a talented and commited member of the newgrounds community (100 submissions? holy crap!). Especially in such f*cked up circumstances. I know he was a great animator, even though I never really got to know him personally- I wish I had. Our time on Earth is short, and if nothing else, at least he got to choose how his ride ended. God help the poor bastard and may he rest in peace.

I really don't know what to say. I am shocked to hear the bad news. It's a shame that I never knew him nor heard of him, but it saddens me that he had to take away his own life. My regards to his family and the officer's family.

hey yo. i think no one should end their life for a problem. cause their is no permanent solution for a temporary problem. Even if LC did go to jail or whatever he would still be alive to count the blessings he was given while he was here. i'm not saying anything bad about him. I know how he felt, i had problems but i went to people to help me, instead he helped himself. we need to just remember the person he was and the person he still is....in our hearts. peace and love.

In a way, some humor flashes, if done right, would probably help, they'd lighten the mood of the people here. All the same though, RIP Livecorpse.

I was deeply upset when i first heard what had happened. I'm not ashamed to say that i cried when i read the suicide note; the sheer helplessness of it and the knowledge that he was going to kill himself brings me to tears every time. It was an unfortunate turn of events for the poor man, and he seemed like a very good guy from all i've heard about him. He'll live on forever through his animations. It's a pity that his creativity will never grace this site again.
