I... disagree. Saul likes what he does from the getgo- there isn't really much of a character development from Saul BB era to Saul BCS era. The first couple episodes... eh. Maybe. But whereas Hisenburg's fall from disgrunted science teacher to kingpin drug lord took five seasons, getting darker and darker as it went, Saul is a conman. He always was a conman, he'll always be a conman. As soon 'Slippin' Jimmy' was mentioned, I kinda rolled my eyes.

What I'm more interested in was the flash-forward in the first episode. Are they going to revisit that? At all?

Anyway it was enjoyable for a while, but I just lost interest.

it's a situation that is similar to the wire and treme - treme is a much better show than the wire, but it never gets it deserved respect because it's not as "exciting" as the wire (no drug deals? no shootouts? no omar?)

Maybe I will eventually. I still need to finish the first season. Another thing that really got to me was it took forever to get my friends to watch Breaking Bad, and as soon as Better Call Saul was available for pre-order I bought the whole thing off Amazon so we could watch it week-by-week.

Then one of them completely lost interest and we stopped watching it after "Bingo". Then the other one got a boyfriend who's absolutely convinced him it's an awful show, and I've been waiting for both of them to just stop bullshitting and watch it with me.

So now I don't have anyone to watch it with, everyone's already seen the last few episodes, I'm behind... I was really enjoying it. Was.

I guess I'm just negative towards it now because it was going to be something we all did together and OH LOOK AT THAT NOBODY CARES ANYMORE

out of curiosity id watch it to see what they managed to come up with
but i think they should leave it where it ended. the series ended fine in my opinion
and with everything has happened through out the show, what more can they bring for a new series?

Yeah, Better Call Saul is the only show I can think of.

Though, there is a Spanish version (I think it is) that's a shot for shot remake of Breaking Bad on Netflix in the US. It's called Metástasis.
