It's pretty common for winning games from events to not land in the top five of the month... The other games had themes that may have helped them popularity-wise so they had more total plays and awareness when the voting rolled along. Or people just straight up liked them more, which you can't blame the tools for.

I'm really glad that Celles et Ceux des Cimes et Cieux actually won. Would have loved for it to place higher, but oh well. Félicitations @Gwenngermain !

@TomFulp before I forget, I've been meaning to ask this...what's up with the entire site layout going gray? Does it have something to do with preparing folks for when the site is a singular color when the redesign comes around?

Going all grey is something that has been dangled around even before the 2012 redesign launched - @Rob actually suggested it originally and over time the rest of us came around to it. The next update to the layout will retain a consistent color across the site, although we'll still make use of the category colors a little - like we still do now in the navbar and auras.

It has also been a long-time question about whether the skins are too distracting and if people sharing the content might not like the skins that are competing with their content for attention. Right now supporters see the 20th anniversary skin and everyone else sees the traditional orange skyline skin. We're just sorta seeing what vibe feels right for now.

Until you see such videos reach top rankings why complain? The message being sent is that people have liberty on this site to upload what they want, that's what has always made newgrounds cool.

You're literally complaining about an aspect of newgrounds that has been around since it's conception. Look at all the posts you have, and you act like this is something new. For shame. Some people just like to complain.

Because Newgrounds always used to be a place where anything that was complete trash would never be seen other than the people that regarded it as such. Now 95% of everything that's submitted is accepted and it's just a dumping ground for people to direct viewers to their Youtube channels.
