I identify as the Newgrounds user who posts under the name NeonSpider.
I also identify as one who has an appreciation for reasoned thought. Think whatever you want, but at least stop to question why you believe what you believe. I mean really stop to question it, not just skim over.
I think the most just and fitting deity scenario would be if there is a god but he only lets atheists, agnostics, and apathetics into heaven.
Reasoning?
Hypothetical God: "Yeah those religious people annoyed me too. Always claiming I said to do this or that. Always shoving their beliefs onto others and seeking undue control. All I wanted was for people to live their lives naturally, unbound by crazy religious doctrines. I wanted people to be free. To that end, I took a hands-off approach. I thought it would be enough if I just stepped back and provided no evidence of my existence but alas, you see the result of that. Constant warring factions of numerous religions, all man-made. I could have stepped in to put a stop to this at any time but then I'd be interfering which would be the last thing I intended to do. Nope, I wouldn't be a control freak. I would let the people do as they will. And many sought to use religion for their own agendas and coerce others into the same. But if I appeared at any time to stop any of this, then boom -- there would be the proof I exist and none would live naturally anymore, which is not what I wanted. It was an unfortunate catch-22"
