Just get a small pre-amp (Amazon: $10), Lepai amp (Amazon: $25) and a small pair of bookshelf speakers (Amazon: $35-75). All of this stuff together is small enough to fit on a bookshelf.

Nickels. Coin collecting isn't really weird but apparently nickels aren't as commonly collected; I just like their shape & weight. I also collect watches but those aren't weird.
On the right is a buffalo nickel from 1920 and a silver war nickel from 1943.
It made more sense in my head.
