What have you made for other people?

I'm not talking about the little paper football you made your playpal in the 5th grade. I mean, what serious projects have you undertaken for someone else, either as a holiday gift or just because?

I ask because lately I'm getting more and more into making things for people instead of buying them, and I'm curious. More interesting answers are appreciated (yes, it's very impressive that you made a Christmas card out of a folded piece of cardstock and some markers).

Currently I'm working on a mounted wall poster that has pull-down slots in the frame which display memories associated with the photos in front of them. Late Mother's Day present.

I have a ton of things I made as presents for people. One of the most recent projects was a dresser for my girlfriend. She had always complained she didn't have a dresser big enough for all of her clothes and that she needed bookshelf space in the bedroom. It cost about $20-$30 in materials as most of it is reclaimed wood.
