How's the Vita at this point in time? I was tempted to get it for Persona 4 Golden but I haven't really seen anything too special aside from that. Plus I've played the original on my PS2

As far as I know, P4G has more content than P4 and different voice actors.

I have a love/hate thing going on with it. It has a great library of niche JRPGs. The screen resolution is about 2.5x that of the 3DS. Also it's not region locked so you can import games easily. It can play nearly every PSP and PS1 game available on the PSN Store, and a lot of PS2 games were ported as I'm sure you know.

But if you have a lot of PS1/PS2 games, you'll have to get used to the lack of L2/R2 and L3/R3 buttons. The front touch is fine but whoever thought of a rear-touchpad should be fired. Also the proprietary memory cards are inexcusably expensive. Also save data is tied to game data. Ergo you can't delete save data without uninstalling the entire game. And if you uninstall a game, the save data gets deleted with it. Sure you can back up saves to your computer or Online Storage, but it's a flaw nonetheless.

If stick to physical games, you won't have to worry about memory cards or the save issue. An 8GB card will definitely suffice.

Do you like Monster Hunter? Vita doesn't have Monster Hunter. But they've got plenty games like it; God Eater Rage Burst, Soul Sacrifice, Freedom Wars all play in a similar vein as Monster Hunter.

Basically it all boils down to what genres you like. Just stay away from the Vita port of Borderlands 2.

Yeah, Chie and Teddie have different (imo more irritating) VAs. There's a lot of different events and locations though to make up for it, from what I'm told, though.

Not a dungeon crawler at all. It's a team oriented action game. You hunt monsters, complete missions that center around hunting monsters, and collect materials to craft better weapons and armor to hunt monsters more efficiently. It is a borefest without friends. It's only for the 3DS though.

If you want a dungeon crawler, you should look up Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines. Just don't get attached to your party members.
