I'm about to get a new job actually. I have a bad habit of throwing in two weeks before I even start looking, but it always works out for me...

Find a temporary job. I worked a temporary job in a warehouse until I found a career. It's not a fun thing to do, but you really just have to suck it up and do it. Take anything that opens up whether it be fast food, retail, etc... Being unemployed for this long is going to look terrible to an employer. They much rather see that you worked in between.

I was with a temp agency. Contracted finished and they told me to wait a few days before they get back to me. They didnt reply for three months.
Hence I am so screwed. Im trying to freelance as an illustrator right now. I just cant find anyone willing to pay a decent amount for the work they want.
They make it seem like by allowing me to create a logo or illustration for them They are doing me a favor. So they dont have to pay.
