Is Staff interfering with accounts of the dead?

There are several "legendary" accounts that either belong to someone who played major role in NG's history but doesn't visit the site anymore, or actually dead users of whom death we know.

Just couple minutes ago I decided to take a look at Ben Spurgin's profile page and it was actually here, but It was different. First of all, the profile picture was removed. I guess it could've lost itself durning the redesign or something, but there's also something. I remember Ben being still alive when medal system was introduced, and I even remember him getting some of the medals. It was pretty symbolic thing that his last medal was "Game Over" from D-Day Defender. But I can't see any medals on both of his accounts.

What happened? Is staff intentionally changing something on abandoned profiles? Is some account data getting lost somewhere?

Wade is conspiring against us? What else is new.

NSA is forcing newgrounds admins to delete accounts of those who expose the illuminati. wake up guys. they do thi hit all the time on twitter and youtube and shit because its a form of media that people use to expose the evil us government. when I first signed up for this site 2 of my posts were deleted by a unknown person. most likely they didnt like that i was talking the truth. From what I gather based off of posts here, (actually I think @Heinrich told me this) way back in the early decade, when a user's account was terminated, the users posts would remain.

I don't really know why they changed that, but hey, it makes for some great thread gems. Like this.

Though if you fuck something up, you will not be able to fix anything after 15 minutes because theres some time period shit after you post that you have where you can edit posts. But once it's up you're screwed. As for facebook shit. Dunno. Happened randomly when I wasn't on the site (for anything other than getting exp) myself.

Well most cetrainly Ben's account is after some changes. I seriously doubt Ben himself woke up from the grave and removed his profile pic, AND SOMEHOW removed all medals connected to his account. Is it possible for You to tell what at least might've caused this? I'm actually concerned about the medals thing. D-Day Defender still has those medals.
