So guys , to those who don't know
I'm Mavis. I'm somehow regular in here. I draw stuff. Originally I'm graphic and webdesigner and I was dealing with porn sites since 2006 - I took part of many projects, but still my love is drawings. One day - one of my clients lied to me that my drawings are so cool I should make a site and make a living from it. I've listened to the guy - and in 2012 I've made the site.
I've made a lot of things inside, based mostly on the fantasies of my members. MILF, cousins, aunties, moms.... someone being pegged. There was some certain time when I left drawings behind. Actually it was behind all the times - since I was always having projects, projects .... as many as possible for the monthly fix. As freelance /remote designer - I often had to change my employer - the last two jobs were nightmare to me. Working as crazy - doing tons of work - and when the job is over they don't want to pay me the negotiated price. Now I'm taking a rest from the designing. Like I said to all my friends - I'm on the crossroad. Will try to make it with drawings.
First - I know my style is not by liking to everyone - but I have to say in my defense that I've been working a lot the past 3 years and the original previous one was changed. I started to draw using reference photos. The likeness is somehow 5-7 % / not fiftyseven but five to seven, or even low.
Now why I decided to post my sketches and WIPs in here - the reason is - INSTAGRAM. So far I was using this social network to promote and show these around. Believe or not there were people coming for commission or inside my site from there. I guess along with the interested came some "white knights" who for some reason were offended by the content they saw and they reported me so many times - that from Instagram blocked me. Yes - they did.
Yesterday I've created a secondary account - but this time I decided to make images "safer" by putting "PATREON" logos on the above. No nipples, no genitalia, nothing. And people started to come again. Now. The nasty thing is that today they have deleted my secondary account and this has to explain me and to let me know that I probably should stop posting in there. Like I did.
The label says : Adult Content - and I hope this will get people to avoid clicking - as for the rest I hope to hear something from you and to get some from you on my site , or on my patreon.
On the site: the payment processors are taking a lot of this share and they leave me less than expected, so don't think that I get a shitload of cash. They are changing their terms all the time - banks raised their fees and we need to raise ours. This is policy of M**card, and we cannot do a thing about it so we need to keep $xx from your account. This and that - and for the past two years I was not able to reach the breaking amount - and to get a thing :-) I used to say - Thank God this is not my job. The sad thing now is that Drawing is already my job. That's the reason I've made my patreon account several months ago. I started to fill it with content just recently - and to diverse it from my site - I started to draw chicks from the the comics and eventually the games. Characters you know better than me. As for my site - the stuff there is based on original characters, proposed and made up by some of the members. However this is in the past. What's in front is the art - eventhough some would say the thing I do are not art. They are right. The guys who would say : This is art - are right too...
So everyone has a point and everyone is right. Even me.
