Somewhere nearby, a bomb is about to drop with just enough force to reach your house/apartment/box. It will destroy your dwelling area, but what's more is that thousands of these bombs have been dropped all across the world, leaving it in ruins. You somehow magically have a premonition and know that you have exactly 15 seconds before you need to run out the door in order to get to safety.

What do you do with your last 15 seconds before your dwelling and everything in it is destroyed, and the apocalypse begins?

Call mom to tell her I love her/tell the person that I'm with I love them.

Assume it's a hoax and continue working on my thesis.

Realistically, I'd probably spend 5-9 seconds trying to comprehend what I just heard, then instinctively duck for cover despite it being no use.

i would say, `nice try bombs, but i know about time dilation—i've seen interstellar!` and then i would say `yes! i am invincible!`

Well, given that the bombs would probably provide an EMP (and if not, the bombs would probably fuck up the internet, phones, and electricity in general), it'd be useless to bring any electronics with me, so I'd probably call or text my internet friends who live far away and say goodbye or whatever.

Unless you live in a literal hole, there's no way you can get out of your house in only 15 seconds. And even if you did, you'd still be caught in the blast radius unless this is some magical bomb that will only destroy the inside of the house.

If you read carefully, I mention that you have 15 seconds to leave in order to get to safety. That doesn't mean the bomb detonates in 15 seconds. It means as long as you leave in 15 seconds, you will make it out okay.
