If you have any teenage friends on social media 13+, you will she they post a lot of quotes saying they've been in love, got cheated on, and babble on about how sad they are. I know these things aren't true in some of them, so why are they acting like this. "Iv'e been in a struggle, iv'e shed so many tears, The world is dead to me, I wake up everyday wishing I never woke up" What is this shit? And why are people I know very well posting that shit when they have everything going good for them? Or they'll post quotes from songs like Drake.

I think today it was something was like "I'd treat you right".

The girl he's dating is the only one who liked it. Ironically, he told me two weeks ago he doesn't really feel that deeply for her.

let's face it: if you're really in love, you don't feel the need to convince everyone on your facebook timeline with quotes

you will, however, do such a thing if you're trying to convince the girl you're with or even yourself that you truly love her

Here's what I think of it; I feel like I'm at the age where instead of just a girlfriend that I'll toss aside in a year or two, I'm looking for a life partner. Now maybe he's changed his mind about her, or maybe he's doing what you said. If he is basically leading her on, I find it kind of inappropriate. That's what highschoolers do, I'd like to think I'm personally beyond that shit.
