Apparently it's now a growing trend of U.S. zoos to close their elephant exhibits and move the elephants to larger reserves, so elephants at zoos may become a thing of the past one day.
I know it's for the health and safety of the elephants, but I'll miss seeing them at the zoo, for I have fond childhood memories of them at the Detroit Zoo. (The Detroit Zoo elephants are gone ever since the last one died this February).

Fuck zoos, animals aren't a fucking sideshow to me I love watching them filmed in the wild it's awesome.
