Hey, @DamnedByFate how many posts did you lose?

About 200 of my went bye bye. Not really a big deal, but kind of annoying. Like going through old posts sometimes. Mine and other users.

It's not mods, it's admins. It's done on a case by case basis. Also, as much as I understand people care about stats and stuff....just go ahead and contribute more topics and posts to things and get them back. The auto-prune costs people posts too off the back end and I don't ever hear complaints about that.

its an admin issue mods just deal with the forum when they feel like it.

I don't really care about the count, I'm annoyed that the content is gone.

Especially since accounts used to be deleted, but the posts would remain.

i keep a screenshot of all of my posts in the event of them getting deleted... my grandma always told me to save all of your posts because you never know when hard times are right around the corner. i'm telling you right now ngbbs posts will be the currency of the future so don't blame people when they get a little irritated when they lose their hard earned posts. you come to know how much a post is truly worth you're forced to beg for crumbs off the table of those lucky enough to be born into a family with a high post count

There's a time limit to how long mods have the ability to delete threads then they only have the ability to lock them. Only staff can delete old ass threads.

I will shift my blame towards the admins this time. I will also contribute more topics and posts to right the wrong that was done. Stay cool.

Update on the legacy of SentForMe (whose arse shall burn in hell forever):

It took me exactly 99 days to recover from the greatest unintentional post loss in NG history. And only now do I notice that I've really been posting way too much. Anyway, at least now things can go back to normal.
