Let's write a Master/Disasterpiece!

Here's a little idea I came up with which should be pretty fun to do with the Audio community.
I made this short pad track (Tempo = 135 and Signature 4/4)
Now the next composer should try to add something to this but there's only 1 rule;
you can only change/add 1 thing! so if you want to add an instrument like for instance a bass you can't add any other instruments to the track. You can also continue the track and make it longer or have a key change maybe even a genre change :P
Once that person is done with his/her part he/she uploads the track again with his/her addition and the next composer can add something

Make sure the file stays in .WAV for best quality
Let's see what we can come up with :D

Awesome work so far guys xD Oh and it plays fine for me demolecule.

It says the file is there, so it should be there, although I can't get it to play anything.

Just added some saz to the opening for brightness.

Suggestion: Upload your part without anything else, just your part as .wav format so that the final person can mix it for you. Or it will become a mess very quickly. Whoever chooses to follow up can download all the individual files to hear what they sound like together.

Just a friendly suggestion. :)

I had thought of this, but quickly threw the thought out.

It does say it could be a disasterpiece.

Nothing as far as I understand it.

Thought about that too.

Don't think you were here for the noise collab. That was kind of like this.

Here, I had a go at this with some trancy chords. Not sure if this will fulfill Lich´s white noise criteria or not.

PS: Pretty sure I messed something up along the way.

Needed something more banging. So I added it myself.

@OfficialSnow, omg that isn't even in the right key.

p.s. ur gay

I did say you can add anything you want :P

@OfficialSnow
Would sound nice if it was in the right key like BetterAudioPortal said.

Yeah, working on it now, sorry :)
I tried analyzing it in FL and it threw out E2 notes, is that correct, or no?

I was actually digging this until the piece got more "banging."
So here's some added texture:

Ok, I fixed my chords, thanks to @TheBetterAudioPortal and @Mattashi and placed them under the banging+textured part of the track.

No worries. It's now a classic

Added an electric guitar with some heavy reverb and modulation to make it more ambient

https://instaud.io/68r

So far sounds very interesting! But we might get to a point where adding more instruments will just make it sound like noise.. @Mattashi

Yeah. I think when things get busy as to just extend it then, and make an additional part. As Mattashi says, just make it longer. Very cool idea! Me likey!

@Mattashi Pretty cool idea!

https://instaud.io/68P

Added a little piano melody to it.

This should be a thing. Like a constant thing, and when one track gets long and exhausted (preferably before) one starts anew.

I approve.

I agree! Lets keep this up, when it gets too busy or long, someone else starts a new track.

Yeah as Mattashi says. One instrument, no more. :) You can extend that track though if things get muddy with layering.

Do the drums count as one instrument or will we have to have one person do the kick, one person do the snare etc.

I think one person can do the whole drumkit so go at it :) but it would be even more interesting to see what we would come up with if only one did the kick and someone else the snare, cymbals,etc... :P

@PeterSatera Yup that's what I ment :) someone can do a transition and bring a complete new instrument to the track so other composer can add something new to that, or we can just start over if we get tired of it!

@Dem0lecule We could make a rule that the same composer can add another instrument after 5 other composers had a go at it. Just an idea :)

@Mattashi Awesome!

@TheBetterAudioPortal get on those drums boyo! :P

Right.

I'm going to completely ignore what you did and just go with my version where @TheBetterAudioPortal left off, and save this song before it craps itself any further.
