You can be the good guy, admit that "rules are rules and that's cool" and come up with your own real deal content with good effort, get noticed and be liked on here... or you can be the wannabe exception to the rule who keeps saying "Yeah, but..." and get overall disliked by the community.

One student did it using clay. One used popsicle sticks and tape. Some drew.
But then this one guy used Minecraft and did it there using dirt and wood blocks.
Now, do you think the teacher will accept that guy's stick figure using Minecraft?
No! It's not part of what the school's definition of art is.
Yes, technically it means anything that expresses creativity. But we accept the more specific definition of art that is visual arts.
Also, it's in the Newgrounds rules.

You try to tell us "This totaly is art because I edited these assets myself and therefore its MEINS". It's on par with somebody making a collage of famous paintings, then claiming that it is HIS INTERLECTUAL PROPERTY.
It is YOURS, yes, YOUR editing job of preexisting assets cobbled together in a minecraft-esque game.
Don't get mad when people here disaprove of it. As mentioned before, some of us are traditional when it comes to art. You could have just taken it and left it at that, but you had to trow a hissy fit because people don't like your "art".

Even if we accept the premise that creating something within minecraft or roblox is art, don't you think there are more productive and less restrictive forms of art? Leaving my definition of art aside, creating something in minecraft or roblox is weak compared to painting, modeling, writing etc. You are heavily bound to the limitations of the engine you are working with when there is no good reason to restrict yourself like that. You time would be better spent learning traditional art or a craftsmanship rather than editing maps in roblox. You'd be better off learning how to create a game than creating an adventure map in minecraft.
Yes, you can create some impressive stuff within these games, but you can create infinitely more impressive things without them.

My point was about taking preexisting assets and cobbling them together as opposed to creating something from scratch.
Granted, it was worded poorly, since
collages totaly are art.
