Anyone know if Stencyl is still crap for medium-scale mobile games? Last mobile game I made with it was about 150 events and could barely run on my HTC Desire. Granted it's an old phone, but it was a tiny game.
Anyway... I enjoy Stencyl web games regardless, it lets the creative types get in on the action without having to learn coding. Yay jams! Gogogo

Personally, I find it disappointing that Stencyl still doesn't support Google leaderboards.

I finally finished Fridge Runner! Whoo! Juggling game making and a job is not easy. I only had a few afternoons to give to this project, but it was fun to make.
I make Comic Sans look good.

Here is the mine. It was a very entertaining experience. The last days were very hard >< Finally is here.
The game basically is only shoot without the "eco balance" reaches zero. But exist 2 modes for shoot, the croosbow mode (Z key) is for shoot to the animals without halo and the water mode (X key) for shoot animals with halo. Also one can plant trees and fungi like in a tower defense.

I was assuming 11:59 pacific...but either way, I guess my game is here now so whether it counts within the game jam time or not it would be really cool if anyone felt like giving it a try :P

A very late start on this project due to other issues has left me with a game I'm fairly proud of yet still disappointed in. The majority of this project ended up being done over the weekend with very little sleep and other obligations in the way. There's a few minor bugs, the presentation is lacking, but for learning a tool and pumping out something that is fun to play in just a few days, I'm very happy with it! No matter how I end up in the judging, I'm sure I'll go back to this a few days from now and fix up the things that bother me and make a phone version, where it was originally intended to be.
I welcome all feedback and criticism! For those of you much more familiar with Stencyl, I'd love to pick your brains on more efficient ways to do a few areas of the game.

Side Note: I just sent an update about half and hour ago because a player commented (on GameFAQs) that he noticed green and pink blocks on one of the levels (forgot to disable the Game Debugger behavior). I assume this fine, but it does beg the question. Since I'm still actively working on the game, should I wait like a week before pushing updates? Or does it not matter even for the competition?

Everything on NG is generally EST but for longer contest deadlines we always give some wiggle room at the end.

It's ok to continue updating / fixing your game after the deadline, there is just no guarantee those updates will impact the judging.
