Ok, I have started a topic, again, but this time it is to talk about thos NG users that have no experience in Flash (most of the time), that vote on flash projects unfairly !!! Look, they vote like this, if they like it ot just aprreciate it, they vote 5 !!! But if they think there is a little flaw, some sound sux or anything elsse, those bastards vote 0 !!! (i used to be like that before, but I woke up and opened my eyes !!!)
-----------------------------------------------------------
I also wanted to report the idiots that play or watch a flash that's still under jugement !!! If they see a popular author, they vote high(4,5), but if they see my flash, and im not famous at all !!! BLAM !!! they vote low (0,1) !!!!
-----------------------------------------------------------
I hope this forum will interest some of you, it is a NG parody that inspired me to do this forum !!!!

I don't have any Flash to my name...but I still vote fairly. I really fail to see the logic in your argument here.

The last time I checked, Ebert and Roper haven't produced movies, either. Yet they have no problem critiquing movies fairly.

this is an old argument...
it;s like george Lucas
saying to people "& how many movies have you made?"
or McDonalds saying
"how many international companies have you made?"
people are entitled to their own opinion no mater how much
of an arse they are.

Aww, poor baby, your crappy flash was blammed.
How do you think the famous artists got famous in the first place? Most of them started off making crappy blamtastic flashes, but they kept going and made quality ones. Just shut up and keep trying.
Yes, I've made flash. Yes they were crap. Yes they were blammed.

It's ironic when you consider that he doesn't want anybody blamming his movies, yet he feels no qualms about blamming other peoples'.
Looking at some of his reviews, there's even more irony. He gave an overall 0 to a movie in the 3.20/5 range, and an overall 2 to a movie in the 3.49/5 score.

I was kind of looking at it wrong. Yes he doesn't want people blamming his blam-worthy movies yet he feels obligated to blam other people's movies that are equally as shitty.

Edvin1412 is right, the ignorent little bastereds don't know anything about flash nor the rules of web-design. They vote blindly or with an unfair bias opinion, completely ignoring the real work put into the movie.

hmmm, no. Edvin is clearly in the wrong and has thus been proven wrong multiple times in this thread. Just because somebody doesn't know how hard it is to make a flash doesn't mean they have to automatically give it a 5 just because you thought it was very hard to make.
When you make a flash you are putting your work into the hands of the public, and if the public think it sucks (regardless of how long it took to make or how hard the process was) guess what? they blam it.
Name me the main reason people come to this website. We're all here because we are entertained by flash movies by talented artists. Obviously yours and/or Edvin's work was not made by a talented artist, and was blammed accordingly. If you make a flash movie, and submit it to Newgrounds, the MAIN REASON FOR SUBMITTING IT is to entertain the public. I don't give a flying fuck how much you want to express your artisic views or your personal feelings. If you want to make a flash for artisit reasons or personal feelings (and it isn't entertaining) then make it and keep it to yourself. Neither of you (and any flash artist claiming this) has any right at all to make this claim, I've heard it many times before and it is complete and utter bullshit. If you don't want people to tell you how shitty your work is, DONT submit it to Newgrounds. END OF STORY.

Edwin, your a n00b who sucks at flash. Some People vote unfairly. Just because some nub comes along and says "OMG VOTE FAIR OK!! LOL!!#@!" doesn't mean it's gonna change.

to each their own.. the point of a critic is to be critical, regardless of experience but from an outside view.. and the point of reviews and voting is to get comments from EVERYONE, not to just filter out the ones who know that htey are doing.. if i were a flash artist, i would want to know how everyone sees my movie, not just the other artists, since it is everyone who is watching it... also, if your movie is good, it will do well regardless of unfair voters.. everyone on top 50 deserves to be tehre and is tehre cuz they are very good and were voted accordingly.. so if the unfair voters make such a difference than why are most of the good movies in the top 50 and most of the bad ones are blammed? it seems like it works fine to me...

With such high standards and harshe voting, we insure that only the best of the best get to stay. Of course, things like "B" by Strawberry Clock get to live because democracy does have it's flaws...
So when you finally get something protected, you have something you can look back on and smile, not say "Damn I sucked back then!" or both...

I don't give a shit about how much work was put into any Flash. I compare it to everything else that has passed judgement; if the Flash is up to those standards, I'll go for the protect, otherwise, if it obviously isn't up to the standards, I blam it. Other voting methods don't make sense to me.
