Help animating without flash crash

Hey, title doesnt make sense but hopefully it got your attention

Simply put im making a cartoon (duh). I do not have a tbalet so i drew every piece / pose / hand / leg etc...
I thin scanned the pics, and cleaned them up on photoshop, expeorted them as PNG (for no background)
When i go into flash and i import the pics, and then break apart, so i can create symbols the program crashes every time.
What am i doing wrong? I have an i7 8GB ram HP laptop, i dont think its processing power? Can anyone help me?
