I actually get a longer list of runner-ups and I usually crop it at 20 unless there are some specific items that stand out to me further down the list... This time around I made sure Sonic Inflation was visible... for kicks.

And wait another minute. CrossCode came out in February, but it wasn't up for voting, was it? Did it not get frontpaged until March? How did that happen? How did it get #1 Weekly users' choice, but not get any daily awards?

I'm assuming it will show up in the nominee list for Best of March... Will need to keep an eye out to be sure!

And wait yet another minute. End of Sonic Inflation came out in January, but won 23rd best of February because it wasn't frontpaged until February.

Yeah that can work a little weird... Although better to get a chance than miss out after coming late in the month and being overlooked at first.

Two reasons:

Firstly, that I had been clinging to the SWF format for as long as possible, not wanting to post things as video if I didn't have to. I had felt (and to some extent, still feel) that the original SWF files tend to look better than the mp4 video that they're converted to, and so I'd been trying to find a way to post it as a SWF rather than as an mp4. It took me some time to put together an NG logo that I felt like would fit with my other branding, but now that I have it, I can use it whenever.

So yeah. Not that I post much to begin with, but at least my postings between should be closer together from now on.

I just wanted to note that this meant the world to me and I'm sure it made lots of other NG regulars happy as well. I don't think people realize how demotivating it is when their stuff was clearly cut for YouTube and NG was an afterthought... It's also hard to expect people to make NG-specific cuts, which makes it all the more appreciated when it happens.
