I like the way you divide the body into sections - they look consistently good!

Heh, I'm in the same boat ..
Looking back, I think routine and good habits were important - at least to me - in having consistent studies.
That, and some kind of accountability (like this thread I guess).

Definitely!
I'm kind of stumbling in the dark right now - Not sure what I should focus my studies on. I left of with some skull studies so maybe I should get back to that ...

I think the colours on the left one pops better while still being believable
I also think some more horizontal brush strokes in the foreground sand would help convey the perspective better

I need to get better/faster at drawing hands. I have trouble making simple (think comic book style) hands look good. They either come out bad, or I add too many details and they don't fit the style I want.
I copied the top left* hand from a drawing, but the others I just used construction lines and sometimes my hands as reference. Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks!
Also, sorry about the lighting.
*EDIT: The picture rotated, top left is now bottom left.

I love you...
asterisk marks those I tried to apply from imagination after the studied ones. I was told i need to vary my stylistic approaches, so, here we go.
Bottom most face is from leyendecker's cupid and a couple people were really adamantly hating on that one. Sooooooo. i dunno.

Yeah, JC's pretty tough. Keep in mind his women tend to have their nose, lips and eyebrows have an upward pull to them while the eyes and chin compliment this by going downward.
the head is tilted away not in profile, but leyendecker also approaches the browline and eye position in a way that definitely stands out to me. The one i did from memory is also from a slightly low angle and I think I handled the features differently.
Not much to say about this. Thought I would finally get around to some studies since I'm not feeling super inspired anyway.
eh just an hour study for faces day since I'm not feeling too hot. I'm pretty sure the jawline is off and the shapes of the features are difficult to manage and i think the eyes are also oversized on top of being off in shape. Neck too. Totally not feeling the best lately.
