I have no idea how this is going to go down in this crowd, but I'm posting anyway.
This is a petition against Facebook to ban violence against animals. You don't have to donate any money, just give a few details and sign.
I'd also really appreciate it if you could share it on Facebook and Twitter and whatever else you may have to spread awareness of the petition. Thank you!

I knew some people from way back in Elementary School who laughed their asses off about stuffing a cat into a microwave. It pissed me off for years, and in turn I'd use that to piss off my friend who was indirectly behind what happened to that cat. Those were all white people too... Fucking freaks...
So, you want a private company to delegalise violence against animals, or delegalise posting such content on their servers.
If yes for any of these - why? Why do you find censorship a good solution? Is the answer that you never found yourself under clearly totalitarian reggime that fucked you in the ass with propaganda and censorship of any other form of expression than the "only rightful" one?

It's not Facebook that are abusing animals, it's the members, but Facebook allows people to post pictures and videos that paint animal cruelty in a positive light by saying it's "funny" to do things like that to animals. And that alone isn't okay, many children have Facebook now and seeing stuff like that may cause them to grow up thinking that animal cruelty is okay and that's not the message we should be sending.

I get all my meat from an organic farm that's about 10 miles away, but I rarely eat meat. If you eat meat that has been reared and killed humanely and you have proof of that, that is okay, that isn't animal cruelty, those animals have had a fulfilled life and been treated well and killed quickly and as painlessly as possible. That's not what I'm protecting here.

If I have to become a vegetarian to make my point I will. I've been a vegetarian before, the only reason I stopped was because of my health but if the only way to make people think my opinion is valid is to be vegetarian again, I say fuck my health!
