Anyone remember "BOTS!!"?

There was this oldish game called BOTS!! by Acclaim Games, where you could select robots and battle each other or "viruses" in an arena and upgrade parts. It was around 2006 to 08 and it was shut down in 2010 following Acclaim's bankruptcy / something else.

Now it's been picked up again by a newer company called Zylon Gaming and it's pretty much the exact same thing (even the old acclaim logo's present). Does anyone remember this? Anyone wanna play it?

I guess so. My internet at the time was shitty 56 or 128 kbps so I couldn't really play all that much, but I played a match or two and it was fun. (Then again at the time anything was fun since the internet was new to me then)

I loved the main menu music however.

Well it was rather magical to me all the same. As for the shitty 56k, it was because I was in Nigeria at the time. The router kept failing due to rain or something (it surprisingly rained a lot there) but it was still good hehe.

At any rate, the last admin update was in 2012 so they may very well be AWOL with no more foreseeable updates. The server still works, though.

Not sure, it does look a little bit familiar. The background showing gameplay reminds me of the Wonderful 101

I remember this game, it was fun until the point to where the site shut down due to bankruptcy.

It was a fun game while it lasted, glad it might be making a return, I will bookmark the site for sure and check back often.
