I would say that people who use Newgrounds aren't a representation of what a majority of people in the world are like so I would have to say no, but I could be wrong.
If there is a community in the real world that acts like Newgrounds, I haven't seen it yet, but would love to live there.

the niche is not as narrow as one might believe it to be. NG caters movies, games, audio, art, and a community within itself to it's 1,000,000+ denizens. Many of them are countless faces lost in the crowd though
NG has people from all walks of life, each one of us has a different picture to paint and a story to tell.
NG is more like a society or country rather than a "world." There's just a few lacking key elements
