Baroness - Steel That Sleeps The Eye/Swollen & Halo
First time we had a long in depth discussion about music I recommended the album Blue Record by Baroness due to her liking Prog. Metal and stuff along the lines of Mastodon. She fell in love with Swollen & Halo first time she heard it and because of this I made it her ringtone on my phone.

Ulver - I Won't Come Back Alive
Ulver made this amazing remix of the track I Won't Come Back Alive by grindcore/electronic group Genghis Tron. Both bands are amazing by the way. Both are totally worth checking out. I've always liked how Genghis Tron used very Ulver-ish sections in their tracks, most noticeably in the more ambient and electronic sections. And somehow, I've always felt that these two bands kind of shared elements regardless of how different they also are. So when it came to my ears that Ulver remixed one of their tracks, I had to check it out. The part that is stuck in my head is the introduction. The haunting melody of the intro by GT is now a deep electronic bassline, and it still sounds amazing. This little intro section can get stuck in my head every now and then. But it's not an annoying kind of "stuck in your head". It's a kind of "stuck in your head" because it's amazing and you'd like to be able to listen to it right now.

I actually have nothing against the song really. It's got a great beat, a wonderful play on words, and with that fun lyrics. I have heard it over, and over, and over, AND OVER, AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN! And just when I thought I had it out of my head, there it is again.

It's weird that it took me so long to give a listen to anything by this band. I've seen their albums covers and their name mentioned in countless forum posts by music enthusiasts all over the Internet, and yet I had never listened to their music up until that point. I guess you can be proud that you made me listen to them :P

Well the final day. I decided to browse through my Grooveshark playlist to find something I haven't heard in a while and I came across this. I love the instrumentation in it and the lyrics are just extremely soothing to listen to. I am surprised I don't listen to it more often, it is one of those songs that could really help zone me out when I'm writing.
So this is the final day of the challenge! Thanks everybody for participating, and thanks for making me find new music to listen to. The latecomers will finish posting their final tracks and that will be it! Thanks again boys and girls for the participation!

Thorr's Hammer - Norge
There is a TON of tracks, and amazing tracks two, that I haven't listened to in a while. I had to pick one... so I picked a track from a genre that I didn't pick for the last 29 days (at least not that I can remember). So here's a doom metal track (death doom would be more precise), and from a project by the musicians of the famous drone band Sunn O))), back when they worked with the female Norwegian vocalist Runhild Gammelsæter. They only released a demo and an EP, which is kind of sad, but they left us with some great material.
