This has some information about the creation of the bible. I was wondering about personal christians views on this. How do you react to the knowledge that people voted on what god said? Obviously the purpose of christianity is to live out your life according to gods plan, but how do you know what that is if You're told by people what god wants?

I'm not trying to convert anyone, because really I don't care, but I'm wondering how you deal with this... Also the catholic church would vote quite often on what is and is not in the bible. Does this promote any problems in your faith?

This isn't only to christians, anyone can respond, (obviously) but I'm really interested in the personal views of chrisitans.

Seems interesting... I'll have to check that out more thoughoughly later, and come up with some responses... I used to be Catholic, and I took Scripture in college, so something good will (hopefully) come out of my mouth.

The bible makes even normally intelligent people go a little gaa-gaa.

We were having a bonfire the other day and I thought it would be a laugh to burn an old bible. My mom wasn't laughing. This made me laugh even more.

However, point is normally all I'd have got is a "Why did you do that?". Instead, well, I'm not going into that. It's far too long and boring. But you get the general gist.

Anyone who wants to berate me for such a blasphemous act, go ahead. I'll probably laugh even more.
