Simply put, don't do it. the only exception is if the company pays you to put the logo in your cartoon. There are a few exceptions.
1-Parody of said product
2-factual education- This is a bit of a tough one to explain

There's a whole lot about copyright law that doesn't make a lot of sense. unless the logo is absolutely necessary, don't chance it.

If you have any concerns maybe alter the logo slightly to where it's obviously the same brand but not infringing on anything; like an upside down M for mcdonalds or something y'know
