Sup, Newgrounds. I'm posting this thread from one of my circuit classes.

Do you ever Newground during class?

Post ITT whenever you're in class and should probably be paying attention to the professor, but you'd rather Newground.

I did it one or twice last semester where I would log on and send a PM or check a thread. But it's not something I do often.

I played Pico's School when I was a teacher's aide in my art class. Turned down the volume, the teacher was helping a student with a composition and I raged across the school wasting everyone from Alucard to that end boss with the purple dick.

Fun times.

I couldn't muster up the courage to play Simgirl in class though.

My high school and elementary school blocked Newgrounds. Before, it was them selecting certain sites and blocking them. Then it became a block by some program they're using to filter out websites that fall under certain categories. I have a screenshot of the block page and it says Newgrounds was categorized in adult themes, games, and video sharing.

Nah, I'm done with school, but I didn't have an account when I finished, and my phone can't support games, so there wasn't a lot of point anyway.

My classmates and I used to go on Newgrounds as far back as 1999.

It was usually in the outermost computer lab of my high school.

Newgrounds was blocked back in my school, you could get around it because IT didn't really give a shit, but I didn't bother.

kids used to keep playing Pico's School on some shit site that stole it in school, and when I brought up Newgrounds they had no idea what Newgrounds was, so yea, dickish sites pretending they made the games.

Holding a tutorial class on the synthesis of aspirin, best thing about these classes is i give them work and then i can sit here and browse NG

Not really enough traffic on the forums to warrant me browsing during class.

I'm not in school anymore, but when I was I remember Newgrounds being blocked at my schools because of adult content.
I remember there were even sites blocked because of the occult.

I think we had christian censors.

In my first year of high school (I'm a third year now), I had developed a shitty little game, but EVERYONE in my computer applications class played it. Then they blocked pretty much every website I could use to host my games :(

I've tried going to NG while in class using my phone but it doesn't load properly, i have and currently am skipping classes to stay here.

I was in class the first time I ever visited NG in 2002.

Yeah, I have sometimes done this. I'm not particularly proud of it, but there you go. Unless the professor speaks very quickly I try not to bring a computer to class anymore, since it is a bit distracting even though I can type faster on it. Paper and pencil/pen works well enough. It also doesn't run out of power.

Bringing a computer to class is something of a necessity for me.

I often find myself needing to look things up in my ebook textbooks, checking the datasheet on a particular component, looking at notes and homework which I've scanned, and taking quizzes online. All of this is much easier using my personal laptop than it is on the slow computers they have in the labs.

Not for notes so much, as most of my classes are heavy in formulas that contain symbols which aren't on the keyboard (and therefore much slower to type) and diagrams which can't really be represented in a word document at all unless I were to bring a tablet with me.

Back in highschool, I used to go to newgrounds. That would also include my college years.
