How do you know that it is a trojan?

And I bet you are clicking on those ads. Obviously, you are downloading something on to your computer (which is the only way to get a trojan)

I'm not clicking anything. I know it's a trojan for some reason I forgot because I'm so damned angry right now.
I never clicked the ads, it come up when I:
A: Enter the BBS
B: Choose a forum section
C: Start to write a reply
D: When a pop-up ad in the BBS pops up.

Accidentally clicking on one of those download prompts that come up when you go to the main forum page gets you about 200 items of spyware/adware. It automatically installs a few programs that auto-run, a few registry values/keys and countless files/folders.

Takes about a half hour to get rid of them because it usually crashes ad-aware and you have to run it twice, then restart your computer to get rid of some files that couldn't be removed without it.

Those are always fun.

Well that sucks, and I'm tired of getting 16 trojans a day from the BBS to check this forum.
This is getting to be a big problem.
Also, a few non-BBS pages give me the trojans too, so I might have to stop going to newgrounds altogether.
So, seriously, what the hell is going on, how do I fix it without downloading anything, and should I be concerned?

BTW, I have no way of escaping whichever homepage you mean "not sure", and I don't have an update for windows that'll fix this problem.

Well, the good news is that I've been browsing the forums over and over just to see if I get more trojansso I have to get rid of them, and so far so good.

Its a good thing I can set it to block all possible
trojans.
