Well, New Year's is almost upon us and it's going to be time for to make our own New Year's Resolutions soon.
So, have you made any New Year's Resolutions yet that you plan on actually keeping?

Let me ask you first, do YOU have any resolutions?

Not yet. That's why I've posted the thread a few days before New Years to give myself (and anyone else who hasn't decided) time to think on a resolution.

The new year resolutions taken year ago.
Nvm, noticed the typo.
Hmm, I don't really make new year's resolutions.
I just act as it is, just a new year that changes from 2014 to 2015, like how January changes to February.
A truly prophetic sig...

Yeah, I'm planning on actually keeping all the ones I make this time! That's my new resolution for the New Year.
Post more art, watch more movies, finish more writings, etcetera.
Try hard at school to get good grades in my GCSEs, get into college, make more songs and improve in music and don't get my hopes up.

[18:34] <PissedWaffers> WHERE WILL YOU GO NOW?
My New Year's Resolution is not to have any New Year's Resolutions.
I'm wondering if I already failed that.
Gonna try to quit smoking, doubt that's gonna go well

Yeah.
that you plan on actually keeping?
Shit.
I've been given a few resolutions for my birthday that I need to accomplish within a year.
I'm planning to
- Climb a mountain + go camping,
- Write a children's book (although the only topic I can think of that is currently worth doing is death), and
- Read 3 books that I wouldn't normally read (which I'm not sure how I feel about, because most books I'd pick up I would also have a slight interest in wanting to read them).
I also hope to make a platformer or a space exploration game, too.
Mine is to quit my ecig and therefore lose my nicotine addiction completely
however now we are closer to NY I am not at all sure I want to do it, or that I want to do it enough to have the motivation to go through with it
was planning to cold turkey from after I wake up on Jan 1st
we'll give it a shot

I would like to publish Miles' comic book as my resolution.
Problem is EVERY YEAR GETS WORSE AND WORSE! By shitty rap, pop, bubblegum pop. I mean why can't kids listen to other artists other than dumb Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Taylor Swift, im sorry but kids should start listening to good music.
Now that I have enough cash to do so without being broke, custom business cards to officially make a living off of my art.
Also, to finally fund and complete flight training to get that Private license and IFR certification.
To keep doing what I've been doing at the gym.
Complete what I start.

I guess that depends on how good your comic is Funny Grammar Man.
I wish for world peace, even at the expense of my life.

Nope I have not, I don't need a holiday to change my ways
I simply find a reason to change
The High Bunny Council Awaits
Here's my resolutions:
> Try to live up to my username some more
> Try to get more muscular this year (I'm skinny but out of shape)
> Try at least one new thing this year
> Try to become more beloved on Newgrounds
> Get more fans than Wegra (I consider him as my rival)
> Get more books to read this year
> Create a signature leitmotif & battle theme for myself (both of these will be my first audio submissions)
My resolution is to be a superkickass father to my soon-to-be born daughter. That's it. Not really a resolution I guess.
Also - to everyone that says "do stuf all the timez y w8 for new yeers????/" - the new year has always been symbolic of change, starting fresh, etc. It's a good time to mentally disengage yourself from negativity, and the widespread attitude of positive change is a great motivator. The same people who wait until new years to change things wouldn't likely ever change said things if new years wasn't symbolic, regardless of how snide all of the nay-saying hypocrites managed to be. It's one of the few cultural traditions I actually support.
