So I just watched the latest David Firth animation and I just felt like saying: Thank you, Newgrounds. If you look at all those kids on youtube nowadays, all those little turds that create so much shitty content and then even worse turds that even like the stuff. I feel like mainstream will always be shit, no matter if it's mainstream on TV or on the internet. The majority of internet main stream stuff is just plain awful. Without Newgrounds we wouldn't have things like David Firth's animations or Sick Animation. I don't think they would have found the audience on youtube they have found on Newgrounds. NG got the ball rolling. NG is there for good artists and supports them. Everything to "artsy" or different or intelligent. It's just not a youtube thing, its not a main stream internet thing. Basically this thread in a nutshell: thank you newgrounds for supporting great people and being a place for great people. being a place i can come to where i can find stuff that entertains me. also a big fuck you to youtube. that's all.
