Good job! Glad to see you're making a change. Drinking lots of water is great. But, you don't have to eat less! :) Just switch out your calories with other stuff. Actually if you switch things out, you end up getting to stuff your face with even more food (healthy food, more nutrient dense foods). It may not have to be a permanent change, but right now I would go talk to a your doctor and see if you can get a referral to a nutritionist (since doctors are not nutritionists) and set up a meal plan. This is your precious life we're talking about here. :/

I'm so sorry that happened to you. I hope you can get the change and help you need. No one should have to live in fear of losing their life like that. *hugs*

Agree with this.

13 is far too young to have developed heart problems from years of a bad diet. Even if your diet was really that shitty, 13 years of life is not long enough to develop health problems. It could be an underlying health problem.

Or it could be something completely simple like blood sugar being too high/low. This did happen after you got up. Maybe you were sitting down in an awkward position for an extended period of time, restricting blood flow?
