I never explored an abandoned place. I plan to visit a couple of ghost towns here in Nevada though.

Just ain't never going to visit that ghost town Idiotville.

Man, abandoned places are cool.

Wouldn't be surprised. She's been feeling left out ever since she got old. Thank you for doing your part for senior services.

Nothing other than the abandoned tunnels that you usually find at certain play parks.
You ever know what kind of wonders you find on the graffiti riddle walls

They are, when I was little we would check out abandoned houses and this resturant.....

though I think its cooler to roam the woods at early morning or twilight

I would love to visit the forest in twilight while feeling the crisp dew of a cold mornings delight.

There was a place called Old Kane Hospital where I lived and we used to explore it and call it the catacombs.

It was really scary because a lot of the old hospital supplies were still there, but the building had been abandoned for years.

Eventually we got caught and got in a lot of trouble and I didn't end up going back because I felt bad.

I once had sex with a woman who had had a hysterectomy. Does that count?

the whole area of my college is surronded by abandoned buildings, most appear to be falling over so i don't plan on venturing inside.

however there is one very large hotel or some shit that is intact and has been abandoned for a long time, its locked up but the outside is covered in graffiti. It'd be probably pretty cool to explore it. the cops however like to sit around the area and give speeding tickets, and while they're usually too busy with that to bother with drug related/ violent crime, they'd probably arrest any college kids breaking into that place.

Sort of, I went to a HUGE abandoned store in the IDS center a couple years back. Yes, there is a reason I got access. No, I will not say what it is.
EDIT: Oh yeah, I went to a couple abandoned kilns in Iowa.

It's a place where they bake clay.

Inside a Macy's at a mall I found an entrance to an area with no people. There was a work desk with pictures on a wall next to it, an escalator that went to an inaccessible part of the mall(that looked empty) and tons of furniture and clothing racks scattered all around. Three rooms lead me to find a wide elevator with the words "don't feed the monster" and an arrow pointing down, Christmas decorations and a lot of mannequins(which freaked me out). This is the closest I've gotten to it but I'd like to find a truly abandoned building.

First that comes to mind was this abandoned mini-golf place by the side of the highway on Long Island, New York, with its windows smashed in and boarded up. I went there with a friend, and enjoyed the view of the driving range.

Second was a castle in Ireland, that I explored with a bunch of twats who would have set everything on fire if it weren't so wet. And my first and only one-night stand was there, being nonchalant. I probably had about three uneasy beers before I got back to bed, where I could be miserable and happy.

I carry your heart. I carry it in my heart.

I'd like to be. There's something I like about a place that's a forgotten memory that makes me wonder what people have gone through and what events had happened. Building stories in my head just off whatever I'd see in it. That and the environment of an empty crumbling building is weirdly visually appealing.

Amen to that.

Remnants of a time lost. A mere echo to only hint at the stories that were told in such places.

Does a long stretch of abandoned train tracks leading up to a large area under a bridge with a couch and tags everywhere count? A friend and I used to walk back and forth on them all the time to get to get to the weed spot and we'd hang around under the bridge sometimes before heading back.

Went to many abandoned places. Two notable ones were a house in the middle of the woods, which reminded me of the Blair Witch Project, and the other being a rural burned down house, which I guess wasn't the smartest place to explore since the roof could fall on top of you and stuff.

I used to go quite frequently to a bunch of abandoned asylums in my area. Sadly most have either been torn down or are now being renovated and cant be explored any more.

Most were gutted and there wasn't much to see, but there was one in particular that had everything still there. I have tons of photos from that one.

Some fun graffiti.
