I found the show OK, but was well aware of the ripoffs and recycled plots (three racing episodes, two Johnny attractiveness formulas, etc.)
I wish people revived Assassin on Newgrounds for this kind of stuff. Where is the "Kill Johnny Test" game?
The opening song was a ripoff of Green Day's American Idiot (at least after Season 1). And Green Day's American Idiot album had Boulevard of Broken Dreams, which ripped off Oasis and Whitesnake. Somehow, I think that Johnny Test was the "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" of cartoons.

There is now four-five racing episodes. (;
There are many other things like Johnny vs Bling Bling which are recycled, one of the latest episodes was one of those.
