So, what is your prefered method of paying for stuff? Like, with me I use my credit card (and pay the whole thing off each month, I'm not one of those assholes) and usually carry no cash.

Use cash for small payments, credit card for bigger ones (house, car, etc.)

Cash for stuff from the store (mostly), debit card for bigger payments.

i usually pay in tasteful nudity
i'm not allowed in grocery stores anymore

Most of the times I'd prefer cash.
I tend to overspend.

I use my Octopus Card for small payment (under a few hundred Hong Kong dollars), just like everybody else.
An Octopus Card is a smart card which I can deposit cash into (up to 1000 dollars). The card keep tracks of the balance as I make payment and I have to transfer cash into the card if the balance is low.

Paypal since almost everything I buy is online. Anything irl is with cash.

Credit card. Rewards credit card to be exact. Save up the points and use them to travel. Would only advise using credit card for a lot of payments if you can clear the balance each month,

I've pretty much relegated myself to paying in full for everything either debit or cash.

Cash if its expensive I save up and pay cash

I'm usually swiping a card. I feel a whole lot safer using it than cash.

as for the word choice, i have problems with that as well. it's not particularly easy to not just type whatever word pops into my head and hope it sticks to the context. it's the mental processing it requires for an aspy to improvise, you see.

lucky for me i'm not quite so bad at grammar and definition inference from hearing it used in a sentence by others. not so good at it compared to how i used to be at spelling, which my skills at have atrophied over time in and now arent so good anymore, but were once flawless.

this time however it didnt occur to me to use google like usual, so it may have come out a bit worse than it would have otherwise..

Don't sweat it man! My cousin is also an aspy, I picked up on it right away without even checking your profile :) You are doing great!

I also often type the first thing that comes into my head without much thought. But most people here do the same, so it's nothing to worry about!

I used my debit card for trusted websites, I try to be wise when it comes to what I spend my money on but sometimes I make mistakes.

Depends on what I'm buying, and depends if I can get them through means.

Cash for cheap stuff, card for big purchases.

Been fucked over by banks too many times... And my income is marginal enough that having a bank account is risky in case I overdraw.

So it's just cashing checks and writing money orders for me.

I use to make cash only transactions no matter what I was getting, whenever possible; but now I use the plastics when I really need to keep track of where my mullah is going
