I'm not, but my deceased grandfather was a WWII vet, so I'd like to honor him.
Yeah, it's my cousins, grandparents, friends, teachers I would love to honor.

Yea same story. My grandpa was a quiet badass who killed 30 damn gookers, he was one of Puller's runners! Grandpa was pretty collected and reserved, but It's a shame he had to die a decade ago, I never got to know him much. He never liked the aspect of killing itself, as he would always pray for his fallen enemy's soul to find peace. But he knew he had no choice but to do his job, as scary as it was.
Sure the Greatest Generation and indeed all of the old people are racist and cruel a lot of the times but the WW2 folks did a great job in their lives so I'll look past the negative aspects.
