What would you do if your Newgrounds account was hijacked by someone who hates you?

In other words, a person who really loathes you decides to hijack your account and frames you for something that you didn't do, and the thing that you get framed for is so bad that you get perma-banned for something that the hijacker did.

Is there any official procedure on how to handle such a situation so that the one who hijacked the account doesn't get away with it and that the person whose account got hijacked has his/her name cleared?

Also, has such a thing already happened before on Newgrounds or any other website?

Switch to my alt. however i honestly doubt someone would go through the hassle of trying to hack my account no matter how much i pissed them off.

You'd be alright if you just contact an admin, they could easily resolve the situtation

If losing the account that you use to post to the NG forums is a big deal you really need to reevaluate your life.

I don't share my password so I suppose I don't have to worry about that.

And I don't think anybody would legitimately put the effort into hacking this site to steal an account that possesses little value.

Getting NG admins would to restore my account would be easy enough, however the better question would be what I would do with the hijacker. Something he wouldn't soon forget, that's for damn sure!

I guess the hijacker would obviously be a person that would think that I find 9/11 funny even though I do not find it funny at all. He would then go make several news posts about the Twin Towers crashing during 9/11 and then make several movies that would perish my childhood if nobody is going to report it on the Elite Guard Barracks. He would also go make BBS threads about 9/11 and how the hijacker thinks I find 9/11 funny even though I do not find it, just like I said.

He can possibly say that TheGamechanger is the real creator of Sonichu and then have his user icon and profile picture replaced with Chris-chan and say that he is his best friend. (Oh wait, that's something of what I would do if I can hack to TheGamechanger's account.)

I'd contact the admins about it via email and hope they do something about it.
I don't do enough shit for anybody to waste their time trying to hack me. If I did get hacked it would be a random incident and everyone would think I'm just being ironic.

It could be anyone. It might be a troll, a regular hacker or a person that wants to fuck up your Newgrounds life. OP doesn't know that not all people who hate you would go hack into your account.

hmm.. i dont think i could say what i'd do really.. except not really much at all. i forgive terrorists, so why dafuq would a person hijacking my account be different?

still, i'd have to do something if i wanted to retain hope of ever keeping my life's work on track.. so.. letting everyone know it was a hijack somehow definitely..

how i'd do that i dunno..
