So I've always had a thing with Apocalyptic Animations on this site. I've always thought of them as part of the same broad category, even though they have major differences. They are some of my favorite animations and I've barely scratched the surface of what exists. Anyway, here are the ones I have enjoyed.

Those are just the ones I can think of off the top of my head. There are many others I have forgotten. Feel free to recommend your own ones as well.

Why do you think people connect to this kind of story? Do you think the theme is a trend or just an undercurrent that has existed since after WWII?
