So I've always had a thing with Apocalyptic Animations on this site. I've always thought of them as part of the same broad category, even though they have major differences. They are some of my favorite animations and I've barely scratched the surface of what exists. Anyway, here are the ones I have enjoyed.
RobsH66 has made some very fine apocalyptic animations related to this with his Fallen Angel Series

Why do you think people connect to this kind of story? Do you think the theme is a trend or just an undercurrent that has existed since after WWII?

Those all look really good, but Apocalyptic premises have never really interested me.
