THEME: "PORTRAIT OF A MAN"

Draw or paint a (traditional OR digital) portrait of a male figure, posed in calm manor and cropped from the torso up. It may be a man from fiction or reality, but in the description/notes, share what positive values and characteristic the subject represents, and why you chose them.(You can chose someone from pop culture, or from your own personal life)

HOW TO ENTER:

Upload your finished artwork to Newgrounds.com via:

TAG your artwork with “COTMMAN”
(That’s it! Scouted or unscouted, I will find your entry, as long as you tag it
with the exact word above, without the quotation marks)

Wonderful. I'll definitely take part in this. Drawing pencil portraits of people, man or woman, is one of my favorite things to do. Though, I must admit that women are a lot more fun to draw. I think it's one of the greatest gifts you can give someone: a drawn picture of them. I'm trying to draw anyone and everyone who has ever had an impact on my life, whether I know them or not. And sometimes I just like to go to coffee shops or bars and look for interesting and unique people, and I draw them.

Heya fellow earthlings
hope you're all doing fine.

Well, Newgrounds truly is new ground for me, as I've just registered a few days back, so I hope you're gonna forgive me for hitting it off with a stupid question ;)
I've already posted a WIP of my portrait and made sure to tag it with COTMMAN but my Piece isn't showing up in the search - Any Idea why this might be?
However, I've got to work on it some more anyways, so there's still time to figure it out ^^

Here's my WIP which is still missing some detail work and final fixes. I'm looking forward to your critique and thoughts.

Hi everybody!

This is my first post at the Newgrounds forum! I liked the theme of this month, so I decided to join in, promote my work a little, and hopefully I'll be making friends along the way :)

So, I'm making a portrait of my grandfather. This is just a sketch, I'm going to do it in acrylics in a larger size.

Hope you like it! If you're interested I'll keep posting WIPs.

This question pops-up frequently, this is NOT a fault in the system. This means you as a art portal user are not (yet) scouted and therefor not able to show your art in the wild. However JAZZA has got a link up and running where these art-pieces are viewable even though the user is not scouted.
