Okay....try finding something thats not part time if possible or not "temporary".
but i'm not used to being in a job longer than a few months
And thats not even remotely a good thing. Future employers are gonna see that and most likely not hire you because of it.

This is true, I drifted from job to job every few months and found it hard to tie anything down for that exact reason, it's a vicious cycle but luckily I got a decent job and have been there close to four years.
Best of luck in your new position though! Hope it goes well.

I might actually be able to stick with a job once i work somewhere that i can enjoy and see a future in. and i really dont choose to work only a few months, it's just how the jobs turn out.
Wal-Mart, eh? Could be worse. Let us know how it goes.
overnight shifts are killer. Right out of college I was working a 3rd shift job but it varied so some days I'd go in at 2pm some days at 8pm. Even though I'm a night owl, I never adjusted to working overnight. If the shift ends at 6am your sleep patterns for the next week are messed up. Studies have also shown that night shift workers die younger and have more chronic health issues. But if you're just starting out it's not a bad shift to work - usually it has high turnover and unreliable coworkers - if you show you're reliable and a hard worker (something about that shift makes it hard to be productive) you can probably move up in the company. Good luck

Good luck, jobs like that always suck, especially with Walmart which was a certain reputation among it's employees.
I used to work 3rd shift at a place, after a certain time the place just died. There is always something to do, so once you understand what they want done, it's just a matter of keeping yourself going at a certain pace.
If you are careful, there is also a shit ton of fun stuff you can get away with. :)

It went pretty well, im heading back in in a few hours, woke up at like five o clock (not that im unused to waking up right as the sun goes down) The temp job is just some random things after the remodel of the store, dusting shit, moving racks into the places they need to be, and painting displays. I'm hoping that they'll want to keep me on because for some reason i was hired right as this remodel is ending (a couple weeks from now)
But yeah, in the end, first night went well, i dont get to sleep like normal people, and im unsure if i'll be working for more than a month because planning! what whatt
